Postcard Friendship Friday - Thanksgiving Greetings

Postcard Friendship Friday is brought to us by our lovely postmistress, Marie.

Many years ago (20+), the Lillian Vernon Corporation
sold reproduction vintage postcards for the holidays.

This is one from Thanksgiving that I hadn't sent on its way.

Thanksgiving Greetings
A Turkey I bring you for Thanksgiving Day,
With wishes that plenty may e'er with you stay.

(The back is marked with "printed in Hong Kong exclusively for Lillian Vernon Corp". No date.)

I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with delight.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Be sure to stop by Postcard Friendship Friday to see more postcards
and visit with the lovely, Marie.

I bought some reproduction cards back then too--I still have them but I can't remember whether they are from Lillian Vernon.

My word verification is "reading." This is the second real word I've had this week.

Old postcards are a treat to look at. Lillian Vernon knew a good thing when she saw it!

This is one of the nicest Thanksgiving images I've seen of late [I remember Lillian Vernon's little catalogues]!
AND I like you've kept us in a sweet Thanksgiving mood.

I don't know of that particular range of reproduction cards but I've noticed others around, and I love the style. They seem to suit traditional events very well. Beautiful card!
