Good Morning!

Gardenia
The first Gardenia bloom of the season in Musashi's Garden.

"Joy comes from simple and natural things,
mists over meadows,
sunlight on leaves,
the path of the moon over water.
Even rain and wind and stormy clouds bring joy,
just as knowing animals and flowers and where they live."
~Sigurd F. Olson

This quote, and others I'll be sharing off and on,
is from the book
HEALING AFTER LOSS
Daily Meditations for Working Through Grief
by Martha Whitmore Hickman.
The book is a gift from a dear friend -- thank you Kim

Wishing you WELL and a JOY filled day.

I am glad the book is offering you some comfort. I know it helped me tremendously. I used to look forward to the morning so I could read that day's passage and would often refer back to it during the day. While your heart aches, while you must still continue on your own path alone, this is a process and only you can know how long it takes.

I wish I could smell that! I love gardenias. We can't grow them here, we can, but have to bring them in in the winter!

Great Quote and Book, Snap... I'm so glad you are reading it.

Gardenias have always been a favorite of mine. My prom corsage was made up of gardenias... Smelled SO good.

Let's pray for all who lost so much due to the Tornadoes on Wednesday. We were some of the lucky ones.

Hugs,
Betsy
