Participating Is Fun!

The lovely Stephanie from The Enchanting Rose
hosted her Ninth annual teacup and mug exchange.
There were 192 tea lovers participating from all over the world.
What a lot of work and
What a lot of Love Stephanie puts into this exchange.

I decided to go all out and take part in both exchanges.

In this post, I'm sharing the beautiful,
vintage teacup that Nora Chin of Teacup Tales sent to me.
It is a Royal Albert from her own collection.
How lucky am I??

Royal Albert Teacup

The teacup was just the first of the goodies in the box.

Royal Albert Teacup

A box of Numi organic tea: Gunpowder Green.
Must be ESP ... Gunpowder Green is one of my favorite teas.

Autumn

Wonderful Autumn decor.

Perfect kitchen towel for the fall that I put immediately to work!
I love owls -- isn't he cute ... look at those big feet!
I needed a small pumpkin.

Zipper Owl

They all look great with the rest of the gang!

Frog

One more sweet item that is hard to see.
Nora sent a plant stake that has a glow-in-the-dark ball.
In the evening it looks like the frog is visited by a fairy!

Tea

Thank you, Nora!
I had so much fun opening your box.
I love everything you picked for me.

Thanks again to Stephanie for arranging the exchange.

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

Tea With A Lady

Let me introduce you to Lady Carlyle by Royal Albert.
She was a gift from one of my sisters (by choice).

Tea with Lady Carlyle

A classic example of the romantic, floral tradition of Royal Albert,
Lady Carlyle draws inspiration from the extravagant rococo styles of the 18th century.

Tea with Lady Carlyle

The Lady is decorated with a highly stylized floral design,
a deep pink border and elaborate gold scrollwork

I've paired her with a teapot with roses by Grace.

Tea with Lady Carlyle

I made a pot of Harney and Sons Chinese Flower tea.
Chinese Flower is a beautiful blend of hand plucked green tea with flowers and citrus.
There is a light aroma of orange and flowers.
One sachet makes two cups of tea.
A real delight with Lady Carlyle.

Wishing YOU well, much joy and a wonderful cup of tea!

I Love Polka Dots!

I love polka dots so you can imagine my reaction when I opened this birthday box!

Royal Albert's Polka Rose!

Polka Dot

Some of my favorite things found in one teacup!
Polka dots, roses, the lovely aqua color, and a wonderful cup for tea.

Polka Rose

Now add a sugar cookie in the shape of a cup.
Yum!

Wishing YOU well and much joy.

Confetti Rose

I went shopping several weeks ago with a dear friend.
She had to make a run to the Premium Outlets for some clothes for her son.
I went along for the ride figuring I needed some new undies.
One thing led to another (Kate Spade was having half off) and
I ventured into the Waterford outlet and came home with this
Rose Confetti teacup by Royal Albert.

What really led me into the store was this tea strainer that I saw from the window.
I had to have it!
Then I saw the teacup.

Such a pretty light pink with the beautiful confetti roses on the inside.
Sold!

Royal Albert Confetti Rose Teacup

I found the teapot at Homegoods.
It is by GRACE Teaware.
