Feast or Famine

Isn't that the way it always is? It's either Feast or Famine.
It's no rain or too much rain (at one time).
I am happy to report that, without having to do a rain dance,
we have had rain twice this week.

Each time Mrs. Dragon ...

and Mr. Dragon sat on their balcony and watched the storm.

There is nothing like a good storm
with lightning and thunder
to enliven the soul.

The rain fell

and the street filled with water
(Lake Dragon).

Today
May I Sit
And Listen To the
Sounds of Nature

The perfect journal page for a wonderful rainy Thursday!

(Affirmation inspired by Kind Over Matter)

Joy To You!

Lovely post! The reflections on your patio are wonderful. Enjoy rain - or sunshine - whatever the weekend brings to you.

Glad you are enjoying the rain down your way, lovely Snap ! We would have loved some full-on sun and heat up our way but as you said, feast or famine, and the summer of '09 has been really ugly up here in New England. Making the best of it, loving the sounds and beauty of my wet nature anyway and painting the day away in yellows and oranges...Happy Friday, you Dragons !

Well Snap---it looks as if the terribly hot temperatures are gone down there for awhile I'm glad you are getting some rain. Just hope you don't keep getting TOO much.

Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Betsy

We had a ton of rain for a long time, then nothing. Then a lot of storms that went all around us and we got none of the benefit. As I type, I'm listening to thunder, and wonder if we'll get any of the rain....
