Random Friday

I'm joining Nancy at A Rural Journal for Random 5 Friday.

Some very quick This and Thats!

- I had guacamole for dinner last night.
Just guacamole.
Perhaps it was an early Cinco de Mayo celebration.

-I'm enjoying our last (probably) cool front of the season.
I'll soon be entering my summer hibernation faze.
Too much heat and humidity.
Meanwhile -- I'll dance in the cool!

- More roses blooming in Musashi's Garden.

Rose

- I'm getting my hair cut today ... yippee!

- Practice, practice, practice....

Color Drop

This is from Martha Lever's color drop class.
Too much fun!!!

I like how the sunshine looks like it is dancing on the rose petals!

Hope you have a great weekend, Snap.

The rose is beautiful and probably my favorite color, tangerine? I've always preferred those to red roses. I'm still sitting here with a fleece on as it's not yet warmed up inside even. But, I see promise for the day, the sun is actually out...yea.

Thanks for the visit, enjoy the wkend.

Good Afternoon Snap, I love avocados, I enjoy peeling them, slicing them and just eating them on their own, they are delicious.
The rose you have shared with us is so beautiful....I adore roses.
Enjoy relaxing in the hairdresser's chair today.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best Wishes
Daphne

I just discovered that I like plain sliced avocados. I already knew I loved guacamole! I expect I will be eating some this weekend. :-)

Great shot of the rose--too beautiful!

Your watercolor is lovely--I really like the simplicity and the colors. Someday I will be brave enough to give it a try!

Wow---I'm impressed with your Painting skills... Very nice job in the color drop class. (I have NO skills at all when it comes to drawing or painting.)

Doesn't it feel good to get your hair cut???? It just does wonders to our spirits...

Hope it doesn't get too hot too quickly this year. We are expecting tons more rain this weekend. Yipes... (We had 6 inches last weekend.)

Hugs,
Betsy

With no previous drawing or painting experience, I've signed up for a series of 4 watercolour classes. Wish me luck! Your painted flowers are such happy looking blooms.

Guacamole sounds great for dinner! If left to my own devices I'll eat whatever is there from cereal to peanut better to popcorn. I hate to cook!

Enjoy that cooler weather while you can. I know I am because that hot stuff is on its way!
