Spring is just around the corner along with Easter.
Since the sun is shining here today,
I thought I'd share one more tulip postcard from the Pacific Northwest.
From the back of the postcard:
"Topping" involves cutting off the tops of the flowers that are just past their bloom. This keeps petals from causing decay in the lower stem of a tulip and redirects the plant's energy into feeding the bulb for next year.
Roozengaarde Garden, Mount Vernon, Washington
To celebrate Easter a reproduction vintage Easter postcard.
This one makes me smile with Daddy Rabbit buying eggs from the chicken for little bunny.
Bring on the bunnies!
Thank you to the lovely Beth for hosting Postcard Friendship Friday each week.
Wishing you WELL and much JOY.

I like this vintage card too. Bunnies are here in my back yard, but no duckie eggs to share. Haven't seen a one, the girls are reaching that age. Sigh...xox
I never tire of seeing tulips. They come in so many beautiful colors. I didn't know that about "topping" them.

What wonderful postcards! I love the bright colors. Ah, for spring to come--for Easter morning to dawn...I can hardly wait.
Thank you for sharing these marvelous postcards! Happy PFF!
The tulips are gorgeous. I am waiting for mine to show through the earth. I always deadhead my blooms and then head over to my neighbours to do hers. she never seems to think of doing it.
Gorgeous field of tulips! And the bunny card is fab, too. Happy weekend.
