I love a classic car! That is beautiful. One of my favorite shows is Top Gear(UK) version. Lincoln still has really pretty autos. Great car!

There was a time when a car was truly a luxury item - especially something like this one! You must have been quite taken aback!

I love the shade of blue in this old Lincoln. Yes, sometimes I think I just need to attach the camera to my arm or something. I'm always wishing I had it when I don't. And we have similar self portraits today! I have an old photo of us in the car with my dad, and lo and behold if one looks closely they can see my mom in the car reflection, holding her brownie camera at her waist as they did, with her bobby sox and saddle shoes evident!

WOW! WOW! WOW! This is one fantastic post. So glad you decided to go home for the trusty camera. Your mosaics of each and every little bit of that gorgeous machine are awesome. I could look at them all afternoon and not get tired of what I was seeing. Wonder if the owner is one of the CEO’s of a big bank! They definitely have the money for a prize like this. By the way, I adore your Pathological Picture Taker and would love to add it to my sidebar with permission. It is one of the best I have seen in ages. Happy Week....Genie

Oh yes, the getting photos of this car was much more important than any letter that needed mailed (Unless you were mailing me a check.)

Great advice to keep those cameras handy.

I think that cars had more glamour and pizzaz in the "olden days."

Wow! I hope the letter wasn't a bill to be paid that's now overdue!! But who cares when you've got something like this to snap!!

Why don't modern cars have this kind of class?? Or is it just me?!

Wow, that is one of the most beautiful cars. I am so glad you took photo's and showed them to us.

Beautiful, and I reckon these vintage cars are more reliable than most modern models. Mine is in the hospital right now, the linkage assembly disintergrated leaving me stranded 40 miles from home, in the dark.
I'm still showing my last weeks entry on my RandomPics blog, it has several vintage cars, pics and slide, that were on show during our recent War Weekend, I fell in love with a beautiful Bentley and my dh was eyeing a Chrysler....

What a beautiful and well-kept car! Even the convertible top looks like it's in pristine condition.

Gorgeous car and what a color! Cars today are just so bland. I'm sure the owner would appreciate your enthusiasm for the vehicle. not sure however how they would like their license plate posted on the internet.
