Busy Around Here

It's been busy around here.

If you've followed Twisty Lane for any length of time,
you know I mention Musashi's Garden often.

It is my postage stamp backyard and the garden named after
one of our beloved kitties.

Musashi

Musashi's Journal

I've always wanted a water feature and this year I took the plunge.

Everything in Musashi's Garden was removed and we started from the beginning.

Pond collage

All new plants to learn about.

Pond finished

And 6 new friends to care for ... goldfish!
Meanwhile, the birds are unhappy.
With all the demolition and building going on,
they haven't had their regular handout.
Now that it's all done ... the rains have come.
Good timing!
One more thing ...
when the lights come on in the garden --
it is a place of pure magic.

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

  6. Congratulations on your new water feature. I know it will give you much joy. I have two very small ones, not nearly as elaborate or beautiful as yours - a small goldfish pond and a separate small fountain. I can honestly say that nothing in my garden provides me with more pleasure.

  7. Wow, what an ambitious adventure, It looks like you "had someone help". I was foolish and did it myself.

  8. Snap - you're new water feature/plantings are so beautiful! You know we have a water feature, too - "the stream" which we can only enjoy in the warmer months. It is now put to bed until June! Musashi would love it, I bet - esp the goldfish! Enjoy and Happy Halloween.
