Well Rounded

All the Christmas decorations are down and packed away waiting for next year.
All except the Snowmen.
After all, it is still winter!

Bentley Teacup

Snowmen are well-rounded
just like my favorite handmade, hand thrown teapot.
I know it looks funny, especially with its stubby spout,
but it pours beautifully and has a strainer that can be removed.
I can do multiple brewings just by lifting out the strainer.
The design on the exterior has an Asian feel.

Snowmen Cookies

The last of the yummy Snowmen sugar cookies.
I'll be sorry to see them go as I'm sure they've helped in keeping me
well-rounded!

Bentley Teacup

The teacup is from Bentley.
Bentley put out a collection of teas several years ago and included the teacup.
It's become a favorite.

The little watercolor is one of mine
and part of a series of snowmen I'm doing.
I seem to have to do a series ... one isn't enough!

My little snowman would like to remind you:
Be a jolly, happy soul.
Spend time outdoors.
Stay cool.
It’s okay to be a little bottom heavy.
Avoid meltdowns.
Be well-rounded.
Live well, life is short.

Enjoy sugar cookies!

Wishing YOU well, much joy and a wonderful cup of tea!

I'm joining several parties today:

where Sandi is having a party to celebrate Tea Time Tuesday's 5th Anniversary.

  3. Love your cheerful little snowmen, and their advice. Had to laugh about "it's okay to be a little bottom heavy"!! Your drawing is wonderful! A lot of talent there.
And having a teapot that pours well with no drips is key!

  7. What a cute teapot, Snap! It's wonderful that it comes with a tea strainer. I brought out my Snow Babies yesterday and have them displayed on my mantel for the winter. They didn't make an appearance for Christmas so I am enjoying them now. It doesn't hurt to keep some seasonal things out. A little whimsy is a good thing. Thank you for joining my tea party to help me celebrate. Have a lovely day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  9. We just got a whole bunch of beautiful snow yesterday - so yes, ma'am snowmen are still quite awesome having them around.

I love when sometimes the neighbor children made snowmen. It's fun to hear their giggles outdoors playing.

We had a snow day from school but I haven't seen the kids out, and the sun is now shining. Weird for them.

Perhaps they're staying warm and dry and painting or baking! : - )

Love your watercolor card, that's beautiful.

  10. Lovely tea vignette with your snowman water colour in the back. I would have questioned the spout on your teapot but you say it pours nicely - perfect!

  13. Hi Snap
You always show such a positive and funny mood in your teas! And of course your teapot and the beautiful teacup reflect their owner's good disposition, ...as well as your snowman watercolour.
    Have a great week! Hugs

  14. Blessings, Snap! Your teapot reminds me of the handmade pots at our local Clay Cottage in the arts district near here. I have two tiny ones I just love. And, yes--Christmas is in the bins but I switch out my Santa collection with snowmen in the dining/library room. The winter village stays up til Easter. It's quite a job to put up and I want to enjoy it for more than a month!
    Joy to yo u!

  21. Ha ! Snowman sentiments really do apply to us..."be well rounded". I think I need to add this to my character quality goals so they can match my outward appearance. Love this post.
