I love sunflowers.
These are from TJs.
I bought 5 stems of each kind.
For me,
the appearance of sunflowers at the market means
fall can't be far behind.

Breakfast at Eclair Paris French Bistro.
It's so handy -- right across the street.
I'll never starve!
I try to visit at least once a week.
The road construction has made things difficult for the Bistro.
I want to keep them in business!
I take a book with me every time I go --
unless I'm meeting with someone.
Crazy Rich Asians is a wild ride.
Entertaining.
I enjoyed it and, believe it or not,
it reminded me of some folks that have been in my life!
I ordered the next two in the series.
I have to find out what happens with Rachel and Nick.
I may have to see the movie!
Wishing YOU well and much joy!

Oh, I do love sunflowers, I don't see them too often up here in Normandy but down in the Dordogne region there are fields of them as far as the eye can see. Your bistro breakfast looks so good, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHere today is a rainy and cloudy day...You have brighten up my day with your sunflowers!Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHello, love the pretty sunflowers. They are my favorite summer flower. The breakfast looks delicious. Enjoy your day and have a great new week!
ReplyDeleteThe movie "Crazy Rich Asians" is well done and worth seeing! Saw it the day it opened!
ReplyDeleteI adore sunflowers these are beautiful!

Those sunflowers are gorgeous. Just the thing to brighten a day or mood.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflowers! My favorite happy flower. Our apartment here in Eugene is very near a wonderful bakery/coffee shop! I like to go there and read and sip and eat too... have to be careful not to do it too often. It's very tempting. i've been reading about that movie, didn't even realize it was a book.
ReplyDeleteIt's so important to support these local, one of a kind (correct assumption?) businesses if we want them to survive! My hubby and I are always seeking out these types of places and we love to get to know the owners … makes for a meaningful visit each time we go in!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you on Monday - Wish you a very fine Week!
ReplyDeleteLuv your flower shaped mosaic. Happy Monday
ReplyDeleteMuch😊love
Beautiful sunflower photos. I love them too. They are indeed a big part of August!
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers and have some right here in the living room with me. And I wondered about that book....wasn't sure if I would like it! Now I'll have to get on a waiting list at the library! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSunflowers evoke late summer for me, with their golden faces turning towards the sun. They also seem very French/Spanish to me, as huge fields of them grow in both places. Gorgeous flowers. Your breakfast looks delicious, and what a treat for yourself to take a book along and enjoy it while you eat. Have a good week, Snap.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are so happy, aren't they? I have trouble keeping them for long, though. I have some faux ones on my kitchen table and some pretty sunflower plates. I just came back from seeing Crazy Rich Asians at the movies. I liked it!
ReplyDeleteThat collage is wonderful! I have a faux sunflower...guess I like them, too. Oh I hope the Bistro stays open. That breakfast looks fabulous! And right across the street. That road construction better hurry up and get done. We have a brand new big chain grocery store in town. I am working hard to keep my local grocery in business.
ReplyDelete...sunflowers have to be the happiest flowers! 🌻
ReplyDeleteOh Snap, how I'd love to have that bistro across the street from me. I know I'd go more than once a week. Come to think of it, Starbucks has opened up just a block from my apartment and I haven't been yet. I'm not much into all that fancy coffee stuff (I don't drink coffee) but I need to check out what else they have.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love sunflowers. The ones I planted this year didn’t do as well as the ones in previous years. Their big blooms make me happy! How fun it would be to have a bistro across th street. Happy Labor Day Weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love sunflowers too. I bought some at Trader Joe's too, but they just had a bundle; not assorted singles. I like that idea. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I totally agree. I know that when the sunflowers appear in the store, fall is near. Thanks for sharing at Keep In Touch.
ReplyDeleteThese flowers always put a smile on my face! So bright and pretty!
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you for the sunflowers (love the pottery, too)!! Just the thing to brighten a gray day here in Oregon.
ReplyDeleteA French bistro across the street? I would be doing a happy dance. Have not read the book. Thanks for the recommendation!
