It's Not UGHust yet!

Boy, it is HOT.
It's not UGHust yet!
Yes, I hibernate because of the heat.
I get up very early, feed the kitties, take my walk.
Errands must be done early in the morning.

Fun breakfast with one my soul sisters at the Avalon Diner.
Now in a strip shopping area, but once a stand alone.

  3. I'd love to eat at your diner - looks like my kind of place. Add a kitty and flowers and I'm happy. Living in Florida, I know all about hot humid UGH weather but I hope your day is wonderful!

  12. I love the fun diner signs, and that owl cozy is darling! It's been unusually hot here as well. Cooling down for a couple of days and then right back into the 90's. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  13. Oh love the flowers - and a sweet kitty. We here in the Pacific Northwest are having Juneuary - again this year - can't seem to get above 64 degrees -and lots of clouds - not a whole lot of rain - just dreary and too chilly to have fun outdoors. We need to combine and average our temperatures. Hope your week is good - and cooler.

  21. Lovely post. Avalon is fun...we even own a big Pepsi cap sign. Our big tuxie kitty Barleigh is a fan of his cat tunnel too. Also having flowers in vases throughout your home is a delight we also enjoy. Glad you are hibernating in style.

  22. I know, I feel your pain, Snap! In Texas, we have to hibernate in the summer, don't we? I do love your owl tea cozy!!

  23. My husband once called me the mole in India because it was soo hot I only came out at night!! I hear you re the heat! In Bangkok it's hard to hibernate as it's rarely cool, I would become a hermit!
Still, I will always have a good cuppa whatever the temperature and your tea cozy would be perfect for a night owl!

  24. I tend to hibernate in the summer too. Winter is much easier because you can put on another layer. Have a great week and stay cool and thanks for dropping by my blog this week.

  27. I love your tea cozy!

It has been very hot and dry here too, and sadly smoke in the air from three large forest fires burning in our state. The pollen has also been the worst I've experienced since moving to Colorado--sneeze/cough. So indoor with the air on has pretty much been my days lately. I miss walking!

  28. Snap, it's heating up here in TX too. Early morning or evening is when I walk, hoping for a shade and a breeze. This is a fun post. Thanks for sharing.
