Kids had fun having their face painted and playing games.

and can not be released into the wild.
The zoo gives these animals a home and uses them for

In some ways, this gentleman is an Animal Ambassador, too.
He is one of the official photographers at the zoo.

It's a shame they can't live wild but then they are a great way for people to learn about the birds. Great images.

ReplyDeleteI love the children's face paint and that cute little owl! Owls do have such wonderful camouflage. I wish I had that photographer's big camera---he must get some amazing close ups.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day that must have been. We don't have a zoo here (apart from a petting zoo) but when the grandchildren are old enough we'll head to the mainland for a visit to a big zoo.
