Old Country Rose

I've been out cutting roses from the garden.
It's so hot they don't last long outside.
Why not bring them inside and
enjoy a cup of tea in the lovely old-fashioned Old Country Rose by Royal Albert.
The tea is even rosey -- Rose Petal Tea by The Republic of Tea.

"A red rose is not selfish because it wants to be a red rose.
It would be horribly selfish if it wanted all the other flowers in the garden
to be both red and roses."
~ Oscar Wilde

Thank you to our tea party hosts:

Wishing YOU well, much joy and a wonderful cup of tea!

  6. Lovely! A classic patterned china, and gorgeous roses! I don't like rose petal tea, but I know a lot of folks do. I am so sorry you are having a problem linking...I certainly don't know why...computer! A bane and a blessing! But thanks for your visit and kind comments!

  7. My daughter chose this lovely old-fashioned pattern for her wedding china several years ago. The adviser tried to gently steer her into something more modern, but she was adamant. She's just an old-fashioned girl who loves roses.

  20. Hi Snap
I thought I already left a comment as I've read your post before now. That's what happens when you multi-task and you can't remember where you left off.
I like the Oscar Wilde quote!
A nice match with your red roses and the same colour in the teacup.
