ReplyDeleteI used to love looking for shells on the riverbank when I was a kid. Not seashells - but pretty and fun to find. Lots of clam shells and snails. Nice memory!

ReplyDeleteThis shape inspired many: the Guggenheim museum has this shape, and so does my garden design (by a garden architect, not by me).
Do you know the book 'Gift from the sea'? So much symbolism in it.
I have to read back on your blog because I have been away from the internet for quite a while: crashed computer, lots of work in the garden, boating, puppy training, etc.
