Isn't this a sweet teacup?
I found it at Ross.
The delicate birds, butterflies and flowers in vivid pink and blue on the cup and saucer.
Then I turned the cup over and discovered this on the bottom:
Dawn Chorus
Portmeirion
Perfect name for this teacup from one of my favorite companies.
Cassie really does like tea day.
She's such a big help,
supervising every move I make!
A big thank you to our tea party hosts:

Sweet cup! Love the shape and the soft design.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited... I have been on the search for a special set of cups and saucers for using with my grandchildren. Having tea (with sugar cubes) has become a bit of a routine when they are here especially the ones from NY. I have seen some lovely ones that were way out of my price range but I won a bid on a set of 10 birthday china cups and saucers on ebay. (Feb and June are missing). It was a steal and I can't wait for them to arrive!
Really like the name of your blogand enjoyed all your photos
ReplyDeleteThat tea-cup is exquisite. Really, I don't think I have seen one so beautiful. Of course, your cat is the picture of beauty this morning. My little Audrey helped me out on Tea-cup Tuesday also. Seems they have a real interest in china. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat teacup, it's a pleasure drink out of something beautiful. Hope you enjoy Lady Bug Farm, I did.

I like the bright cup of white and pink contrasting sweet against the bright blue. A perfect cup for the brighter seasons. The little butterfly on the saucer is the finishing touch in. I wish you a very nice week! Zinnia

Lovely, sweet tea cup and equally charming embroidered cloth in the background. xox
ReplyDeleteUnique cups. Like your helper. I have two of them who leave me bits of fur here and there.
ReplyDeleteHi Snap,
ReplyDeletethats a beautiful find and matches perfect with the bird runner. Is Cassie interested in the birds decoration, the tea or the cream for the tea? Anyway, she is a beauty with her blue eyes.
Best greetings, Johanna
What a darling teacup you found! I do like shopping at Ross. There are none around here, but on our way south for the winters I find quite a few. Such a sweet kitty, I miss mine. Thanks for sharing,

I love this cup. For some reason it reminds me of an Asian cup I had years ago. Such delicate painting. Your cat is so beautiful. I miss my sweet Siamese.

It's a lovely teacup and the backdrop is quite charming too, especially "blue eyes". That looks like an interesting book.
