  8. I love herons and egrets. They look like such elegant creatures with their long necks. Really nice shots today. It's hard to catch them sometimes!

  9. Wonderful pictures of this magnificent bird! we don't have egrets in my area but occasionally a one will stop over in our province here in Canada making a rare visit. I have seen the great white heron in the Florida keys and loved the sighting and pictures I had taken. Your photos today remind me of that joyous sighting.   13. My goodness but he's lovely. I can see the heron relation i the head and face. It makes me anxious to see ours come back in the spring. *sigh*
