It's time for Sun Lit Sunday.
My blogging buddy, Karen, hosts Sun Lit Sunday during the winter as
a spot where people could share the "sunny" side of winter. Every season has its own beauty and this one is no exception.
Where I live plants are still green.
It's damp and temps are in the 40s.
Getting cozy, like this pair of doves, helps!
But it is also the time of year when I can open the front door for awhile and the "babies" can get a touch of fresh air while watching the action in the neighborhood!

Those cats are checking things out.
ReplyDeleteSweet birds!
ReplyDeleteThe doves are amazing - I've not seen any so close up. They do look nice and cozy.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! I hope to get back to using my camera soon. Is that a courtyard on the front of your home? I love it! Happy Sunday, my friend.

Welcome back to ☀Sunlit Sunday, Snap. The doves do look very cozy, secure in the knowledge that they're safe from the beautiful kitties. The light is so pretty on their fur and they look about ready to go exploring! Have a lovely week.

The doves seem perfect for Sunlit Sunday. I bet your kitties love sitting in the fresh air.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the birds and kitties.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by - I'm really behind with comments - Christmas, a beautiful wedding, New Year - all kept us so busy. It's good to be getting back to the mundane!!
Happy, healthy New Year dear.

I miss having a cat when I see yours intent on what's going on beyond the screen and the doves look pretty cozy sitting together in the sun.
ReplyDeleteLoved to see your kitties enjoying the sun...thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteTwo turtle doves, how lovely! Thanks for popping over to Normandy today, best wishes for 2015.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to enjoy opening your door to the fresh air in winter. My house would have a bitter wind and snow blowing in if I opened the door today! lol I love seeing mourning doves but they are scarce here this winter.
ReplyDeleteThe pair of doves are a charming sight.
