Double Delight

On this cloudy morning I'd like to show you
Double Delight.

From bud:

to full bloom.

This is what she looks like today (before the rain) blooming in Musashi's Garden.
A Double Delight in color and her fragrance is heavenly .. just like a rose should.

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

  18. Oh did this ever bring back wonderful memories. We haven't had a rose garden for years and years, but when we did (back in Oregon), the Double Delight was our favorite. Even back then, it was rare to find a beautiful rose with that perfect rose fragrance and (just as you say) this one fills the bill.

  23. Hello Dragon Lady,
I am your new follower. It's funny, my Mom's nickname is Dragon Lady, but for a very different reason than yours. She is a very tough lady and is very proud of that. And since she was born in the year of the dragon, she loves it when we call her The Dragon Lady. I can't remember how that nickname started, but we still affectionately call her that today. I really enjoy your blog and will be following you. Christa
