Double Delight




On this cloudy morning I'd like to show you 
Double Delight.

    The colouring on this rose varies from bud to full bloom in the most interesting way. Even better,it has a fragrance!

    Absolutely stunning.. I smell its fragrance all the way here in Missouri! Snap I see you love Buddhism, me too. Meditation and mindfulness have helped to mellow out my anxiety~dukkha that I have lived with all my life. Namaste.

    Oh did this ever bring back wonderful memories. We haven't had a rose garden for years and years, but when we did (back in Oregon), the Double Delight was our favorite. Even back then, it was rare to find a beautiful rose with that perfect rose fragrance and (just as you say) this one fills the bill.

    Hello Dragon Lady,
    I am your new follower. It's funny, my Mom's nickname is Dragon Lady, but for a very different reason than yours. She is a very tough lady and is very proud of that. And since she was born in the year of the dragon, she loves it when we call her The Dragon Lady. I can't remember how that nickname started, but we still affectionately call her that today.
