When The Red Red Robin

Came bob, bob, bobbing along --
he made an early morning visit to Musashi's Garden.
Not my usual visitor for the morning buffet.
He took a bath in the fountain.
No pictures -- although I did try -- he was just a blur.

Robin

Here he is sitting drying off.
(I wonder where I put the tiny towels?)
The sun was just beginning to find the garden.
Pleased with himself, I think.

Come back again, Mr. Robin!

I'm joining the other sun lovers at Sun Lit Sunday.

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

  5. That's a really nice picture. The robins are active in my garden, too, now, but I haven't been able to get any pictures that good.

  6. Beautiful photo of the elusive robin! They have all flown south or west or somewhere away from our yard and gardens! Looking forward to seeing them in the spring!

  7. Hi Snap!

What a delightful image of your pretty visitor! Robins always symbolize spring for me, ever since I learned the song, 'Robin in the Rain', in kindergarten! Do you know it?

  8. Your photo made me happy! We will not see robins here in Michigan for a while yet. We have a mating pair that return every year to build a nest and raise a family on our front porch. I am looking forward to sharing those photos this year. Thank you for stopping my my blog Friday, and I am so glad that I came by for a visit here.

  10. Lovely! The morning light is glorious! No such thing here today; the skies are leaden and threatening winter mix.

  11. That is such a beautiful photograph, Snap. The robin seems to be standing so proudly, facing the sun head on and enjoying its warmth. I love the fluffy red feathers.

Thanks for joining in with Sunlit Sunday. I had thought you might be bringing Theodore, so you surprised me with yet another sunny post!

  19. I bet this robin is a lot happier than the ones I have seen this winter in my neck of the woods. ;)

  20. I always said a Robin was an indication of Spring. She is a pretty one. So I guess the water in the bath isn't frozen then. Do you offer heated towels at your bird hotel?
    Have a wonderful week,
    Cindy
