Chasing Sun Puddles

Sunlit Sunday is back for its third season.
The link-up was started in 2011 to help add a little sunshine to what can be
a rather grey period from January through March.

Today Teddy and Mina are chasing sun puddles.

Chasing Sun Puddles

Wishing you well and much joy.

Stay warm!

  2. Yours is the third blog I have seen to be participating in this fun party. It may be the only way I'll see much sun in the next few months! I do love to see a cat enjoying a patch of sun.

  5. Teddy and Mina are gorgeous, Snap, and they're making me miss my beautiful Sam-the-tabby. There is something beautiful about cats playing or snoozing in the sunshine, with their coats gleaming.

Thank you for sharing your lovely kitties at Sunlit Sunday.

  6. Teddy and Mina have the right idea. If there was any sunshine here today I'd be doing the same thing. Think it's time to get out my "light lamp" -- we had some sunshine yesterday but given that we're getting more snow & possibly MORE freezing rain (oh spare me!), fake light is what I'm needing. That or a bottle of vodka! ;)

  10. That's just what my kitties do around here...especially Harley. He's definitely a sun lover and likes his sun bath. He travels around the house with the sun.

  13. The sight of a cat (or dog) napping in a sun puddle is heart warming. I know they like the warmth, but wonder if they are trying to pick up some vitamin D as well?
    Your furbabies are sweet Snap.

  16. How adorable!! Love looking at kitties basking in the sun, especially since they HATE the water so much!

Thanks so much for your sweet visit earlier.

Have a great week and a happy 2014!

  18. I miss that my grown kiddies do not want to go out and play in the snow anymore. I have to make the darn snowman myself! And, while I'm out there, I make a nice little snow fort with a seat and a place to set my drink down after I light the candles that glow bright in the icy snow that comes with single digits... okay, I need just a tad more snow for that snow fort. But, that's the plan! Aloha

  22. Your kitties have a great idea. I like to follow the sunshine around my house, too, and I'll happily sit on the floor to enjoy it.

  23. Cats are so clever - yours know just where the sun will be in their house - their mother might have told them and they have the sun spots mapped in their brain from season to season.
I'm late visiting from Sunlit Sunday.
