Important things first:
To all my Canadian Friends -- Happy Canada Day!
*
There is no reason I can't enjoy the heat with a little
Enchanted Tea.
Enchanted Lands
Iced tea in a pretty green glass mug
A mini carnation
and I can forget about the heat for awhile!
I used one of Nancy's textures at 50%.
I erased the texture over the carnation.
A little fun editing on a hot day -- iced tea at hand!
Thank you Nancy!
Thank you to our tea party hosts:
Wishing YOU well, much joy and a wonderful cup of tea!
That is a beautiful glass mug, Snap. I really like your use of texture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Snap.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty and refreshing! I need some down here....108 degrees! Wah! Love your photo techniques! I love erasing...it's fun! The carnation pops!

Nancy's texture looks great on your tea photos. Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI left a message but it seems to have disappeared... so I will say thank you again for the Canada Day wishes and for remembering that it is a holiday for us. I love your photo and the textures, especially the second one. Stay cool!! xoxox
ReplyDeleteHi Snap, boy, I could sure use a glass of that iced tea today. I love your editing on the pictures, too.
ReplyDeleteThat tea looks cool and refreshing on a hot day. I love the editing you did in some of the pics.
ReplyDeleteI do like the texture you used!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and inviting! I am actually going to have to go get a drink because that tea has made me thirsty!
ReplyDeleteI like iced tea too. My favorite iced tea is made with Lipton's Orange and spice black tea. Recently I also tried my hand at use of an herb in my garden: Lemon Verbena tea. I bruised the leaves and let them soak in the tea for a few hours - for that tea, I used a plain black tea. It was good too. Summer is a great time to relax with a good book and a glass of iced tea!
ReplyDeleteOh what a delightful shot!!! I love the first one. I like the textures too, but the colors and clarity in the unedited shot are like string to a cat's brain for me. HAPPY!
ReplyDelete**blows kisses**

What lovely texture edits. I was awed by the first one, then scrolled to see the next one with the rose more prominent. I think that's my favorite!
