As we get closer and closer to Valentine's Day,
some words of wisdom from
A Box of Kisses published by Chronicle Books,
a box of 40 reproduction vintage postcards.
"You must kiss him or get out and walk.
Look out for the fellow who owns an automobile."
"Love me and the world is mine."
Thank you to Beth for hosting Postcard Friendship Friday.
Wishing YOU well and a JOY filled weekend!
Beautiful quotation and the postcards are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe last one is very romantic!
Happy weekend, purrs and love
Luna - We love Luna
Luckily I like the guy who owns the automobile :) Cute postcards!
ReplyDeleteSo funny (the first postcard). And love the new banner!
ReplyDeleteThose guys and their automobiles! Gotta watch out for them. Love these vintage postcards. I like seeing the different styles of art.
ReplyDeleteJeez, is that first one the old timey version of "Ass or Gas -- no one rides for free"?
ReplyDeleteThe fellow who owns the automobile is wearing too much lipstick for my taste!
ReplyDeleteBut now girls can drive and take care of their own automobiles! Happy PFF.
ReplyDeleteWhat great cards! It seems like 100 years ago, when my parents wouldn't let me go out on a date in a car. I might have been living at the end of the 21st century, but my mum wasn't!
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet! I like Chronicle books quite a bit and get their newsletter and read their blog..they often have fun stuff!
