Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I wanted to share this beautiful pink teacup with you.
I love the big white and pink flowers.
You can see the ripples on the cup and saucer.
On my last visit to World Market, I bought the heart shaped ginger snaps.
I LOVE ginger snaps.
Apparently, Cassie likes ginger snaps, too.
With green tea!!!
Cassie has never shown any interest in my tea time photography set ups.
There is a first time for everything and it was fun to include the little lady
and NO, she didn't get my ginger snaps!
See the little pink rose (peony?) in the cup?
Lovely!
A big thank you to our tea party hosts:

Such a beautiful layout, the little rose/peony? inside the cup, gingersnap hearts... but most of all that dear Cassie! I grew up with a siamese and just the sight of one makes me smile and return to the 50's. Thanks for the cup of tea~

Love Cassie, and your teacup is beautiful. What is it about tea that attracts them. My cat is like that too, if I look away, his nose is in my tea, and recently into the cookies as well. My son says he's going bonkers. Have a lovely tea time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect setting for Valentine Tea! I'm going to check if our World Market has any of those ginger snaps.

ReplyDeleteGinger snaps and tea - mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI've found a new tea that I'm enjoying from a local tea shop - nothing like a lovely hot cuppa in the evening.
Hi Snap,
ReplyDeleteyour Cassie is a sweet little lady who enjoys her first tea party. So cute! Your tea trio is really charming and the ginger snaps look yummy, too. Thank you for this lovely tea time and give Cassie (and Theo?) a little scratch.
Best greetings, Johanna
I am not sure what is more beautiful - that gorgeous teacup set or your exquisite Cassie.
ReplyDeleteMy first cat was a blue-eyed Lilac Siamese and I had him for 17 years.
He was a delicate scared jumpy kitty when we rescued him....so he was much older than 17 years because he was full grown and we still had him for 17 y ears.
When we moved he did NOT take it well and fell ill soon after. This is where I always cry, because I think moving killed him.....but sweet DH always reminds me we had to move, and he was very old and it was his time.
I miss him still and it has been over 10 years.
Your kitty is a sweetums.
Thanks for a lovely post, though I am relieved to learn Cass didn't get your cookies!!! Haha!!!
