I paused here and skipped around some of your recent posts this morning....I don't know what you loss is...but here is hoping your heart is mending and you are experiencing some sense of serenity.
That's exactly how I feel these days, life has it's own momentum and I am along for the ride. Love this view of the Japanese garden. Hope all is well. Can't believe it is 100 there, probably cool for you. xox Corrine
Oh Snap, I hurt for you... I know how hard it is. You/we try to be strong --but there's a deep pain still effecting us... Time will help --and distractions. BUT--I can't say it's easy. It is NOT. Just lean on God... Hugs, Betsy
I recently read the most amazing book called 10,000 Joys, 10,000 Sorrows. It is about a couple and their journey through Alzheimer's Disease. They are both Buddhists and they talk about the profound nature of grief, and acceptance. I learned so much and found it so comforting.
Have a beautiful day. I love this photograph, isn't it so peaceful?
'And so I greet you, not as the world sends greetings, but with profound esteem and the desire that for you, now and forever, the day breaks and the shadows flee away.' - Fra Giovanni We are all so busy these days. It means a lot that you dropped in to visit and left a comment. I hope you come back to visit soon.
Hi Snap,
ReplyDeleteThis is very true! Thank you for the "food for thought" quote.
Have a special day.

I've always liked that quotation by Forster. Very hard to do though. But necessary, as he says.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful image. No words, just silent reverence.

The leap from what we'd planned to what is waiting for us can take an awful lot.
ReplyDeletethis is one of my favourite quotes...there are so many times in my life when I have gone back to that and felt refreshed after doing so. xo

I like seeing Houston's Japanese Garden in summer, Snap. The quote is good advise.
