It's getting hot in Musashi's Garden and the birds are enjoying the bird baths.
Cleaning out the bath and fountain is one of my first chores of the day.
The kitties and I have seen cardinals, blue jays, doves, sparrows taking their turn.
There are two blue jays who visit the bath together.
Coming and going, usually before I can grab the camera.
He looks a little wet, doesn't he?!!!
Wishing you WELL and a JOY filled week!

Love it! Looks like he was enjoying that bath. Glad you grabbed your camera, great shots.
That little old bluejay looks like he's really enjoying bath time, what a great punk hairdo he has!

What a refreshing dip it must be for them!
I love that Punk Jay!
That reminds me - our bird bath is looking a little mossy - time to scrub it out.
Blue Jays really know how to use a birdbath. I love watching them. They always make me smile.
Wow....you got some great shots. The other day I got a shot of a yellow bird at our birdbath but it was through the window and not so close-up. These are amazing!
Not so fond of the Blue Jays that frequent my back yard because they attacked my little Yorkie...pecked him in the eye...vet bill. I do love to sit and watch the Cardinals who seem to have adopted our trees and shrubs. Your fountain is lovely. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos and for stopping by my post. Cherry Kay
Oh Snap these are great photos. Don't you just love when they are all wet and fizzy looking. Should we put towels out for them?!!!!!
Adorable captures! I love these photos. The jay's look so cute wet.
Thanks for coming to my blog -- I like making new friends. That bluejay is hilarious. I have some in my yard, but they are mean. They chase off all the other birds from the birdbath!
Hi Snap! Oh, this is adorable. I'd say the Blue Jays are having a fabulous time beating the heat. Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
How cute. The little bluejay looks like he's having a bad hair day!
Oh how cute! Great captures!
Wonderful photos! Have a great week!
Great pictures proving that timing is everything!
Great shots!!! He does look wet. Enjoy your week.
How sweet! I just love birds and to watch them bathe is something!
Blessings,
Cindy
Awesome photos of the birdbath!!! Maybe we should get the birds a little "product" for their hair'dos!!!
Wow. That fella knows how to take a bath. He's not messing around -- well actually he is. Great pics!
Omigosh, what fabulous captures!
So cute! I think he needs a blow dry. Ha!
Oh that's great. Love the photo of that water sogged Blue Jay!!
Beautiful pictures used effectively in the mosaic.
Those birds are SOAKED! Great photos, Snap. I bet the kitties are excited to be bird watching!
Snap,
These are just awesome photos! I can't believe they let you get so close to them. A precious shot of the Blue Jay.
Oh I just love to watch the birds in the bird bath. They get in there and just splash and splash and we giggle. Cool. V
What a HOOT, that Blue Jay got his money's worth from your bird bath! I always enjoying watching the birds splash around :-)
You need to provide a towel with that bath!!! :D
that Jay really soaked it up eh! You are getting hot already, I hope you don't have a summer like last year, jeesh! xox Corrine
How funny and bedraggled that Blue Jay looks in his bath - - - well, not as funny and bedraggled as I would look should some giant bird with a camera capture me!
OH MY! I think our blue jays here in Florida would like a bird bath...it's HOT here! That is just the cutest! ♥
What cute photos, Snap! The bluejay was certainly enjoying his bath!
PS: Next up from Chicago is either the Willis (Sears) Tower or the Chicago River Achitecture Boatride --haven't decided as yet!
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing with us. I see things in the courtyard so many times that would make great photos, but by the time I get the camera it is gone.
I've never seen a Blue Jay so drenched! Adorable photos :)
Heeheeee.... I love messy bird!
