A life without dreams
is like a garden without flowers.

I've enjoyed images of Winter Wonderlands posted by my blogging neighbors.
I thought I'd show you what my Winter Wonderland looks like.
These images were taken from November to yesterday in Musashi's Garden
(our postage stamp backyard).
The yellow rose is called Irish Gold and was a cheapy from Sam's Club.
It is a wonderful bloomer and is doing well in a pot.
Here it is just starting to bloom and in full bloom.
There are more blooms to come!
The pink is a grandiflora (also from Sam's).
Daddy cardinal is a frequent visitor (along with the Mrs).
In the upper left corner is the first camellia bloom of the season.
The red penta made it through last years freeze and blooms, blooms, blooms.
Not bad for a Winter Wonderland!
A big thank you to Mary for being our hostess for Mosaic Monday.
Each is mosaic is different and each has a story to tell.
Wishing you well and a JOY filled week.
An hour or two of your winter wonderland would be lovely about now. Not too cold 32F but the wind is a blowing.....xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteOh, the glory of living in a warm climate! Beautiful! We got a foot and a half of new snow yesterday. Now we must go out and shovel. *sob* Can I come and live with you?
ReplyDeleteSnap,
ReplyDeletethese are so gorgeous and you know your lay-out really enhances each and every photo! My two favorite colors of flowers together are pink and yellow, therefore, the first montage is remarkable to me!
Thank you for filling my eyes with such beauty!
Beautiful photos of beautiful flowers. The cardinal is quite handsome. Great mosaics. Have a great week!

What wonderful color to brighten my snowy day!
ReplyDeleteWow incredibly and wonderfully encouraging to see blooms right now. Mr. Cardinal is one of my favorites though. There is something just so exquisite about the head crest and the shape of the beak, the black around the eyes etc. etc. etc.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Snap! My winter wonderland is really looking like a winter wonderland. It started snowing about 3 p.m. Don't yet know how much accumulation we'll get. Brrr!
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of yellow roses and yours is just beautiful. All of the flowers you've shown today are so pretty and give a winter day a nice touch of the spring to come....sooner than later for some! The cardinal is a nice addition to the mosaics. Very nice post.
ReplyDeleteVery devious Snap. I expected some wintry scenes and instead had to endure lush scenery with beautiful, and no doubt, fragrant flowers.
ReplyDeleteWe have cardinals here too....and they look amazing against a backdrop of pure white snow. ;-)
Stunning winter bloomers. So nice to see colorful flowers, since my garden is asleep under all the snow. Take care and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the birds with the photos of flowers! Very nice mosaics! Happy Monday! ♥
ReplyDeletesuch amazing color, Snap. It feels so good for the senses! Thanks for the feast.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! I'd not ever seen a penta, but it certainly is a pretty one.
ReplyDeleteJealous here...I'm living in a make-believe land pretending that we have beautiful blooms while is is very cold right now!!! Thanks for the color!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!!!
Snap, that cardinal made a wise choice when he decided to stay in your area for the winter! :)
ReplyDeleteI won't see roses until June ..it was lovely looking at yours!
Happy MM!
Beautiful blooms! Right now the roses in the botanical gardens are in pruning stage, but there are a few late bloomers.
ReplyDeleteI love the variety of the flowers in your mosaic.
