Postcard Friendship Friday

Would you believe? I didn't have an Easter Postcard in my collection of *paper stuff*.

So I headed over to the New York Public Library and copied the first one that popped up!

Easter Greeting
Easter Joys Be Ever Thine

1912 Postmark

Love from Aunt Pauline
Love the *Master* title of the young man!

Beth is our hostess for Postcard Friendship Friday.
Be sure to visit!

Lovely card! Aunt Pauline forgot to cross her "t" - looks like she sent the card to a "masher" by the name of Ellwood.

It feels like there is a story in just those names - Ellwood Maguire and Aunt Pauline.

I always wished for handwriting like on those old postcards. Alas, not to be. Thanks for sharing.

I don't have any Easter postcards, either, and my friend with all the holiday postcards from the early 1900s hasn't lent me any! Interesting font chosen for the message - it's hard to read!

My favorite vintage cards are the ones with writing on the back. I wonder what Master Ellwood was like as a young boy? Happy PFF!
