Friends Come In All Shapes and Sizes

I'd like to introduce you to two new friends.

They make me giggle.

Crochet Friends

I found the pattern in a Herrschners after holiday sales catalog.

Crochet Pals

Red Penguin

I need to tack the hat on Mr. Red. It doesn't quite fit properly.

Blue Penguin

The big decision ... do I keep them or save them for gifts for Christmas.

Meanwhile, I think I'll make more!

  2. Thanks for the birthday wishes. These are fabulous. Make thousands.

  3. You did a great job! They're so cute. I still haven't gotten out my yarn and crochet hook this winter and before much longer it will be too hot for me to do any crocheting.

  6. Oh how cute, Snap... I love them both. You need to make more--so that you can keep some and also give some away...

    Hope the week goes well.

  7. Oh I love them! You did such great work on them too. I would be in your same dilemna if I had made them. I think I'm going to have to get the pattern if I still can.
