Our lovely postmistress, Marie, is the hostess for Postcard Friendship Friday.
Today she posted a little girl with a canary.

the colors in this are just heavenly!!!
Beautiful colors, and love the artful positioning of the birds. Lovely.
Loving the beautiful parrots...a visit to the jungle is always good.
Have a sweet Friday, Lovely Snap !
Gorgeous colour...I read a novel about Audubon a number of years ago. He was an "interesting" man to say the least.
Bee-oo-tee-ful! I love birdwatching but for some reason they scare me. Their sharp beaks, clutching claws. I think one day I will try to keep one as a pet (a parrot?!) so that I can lose that fear as I love what they represent and am fascinated watching them go about their business.
Audubon was the most wonderful artist, I think. I'm especially fond of his flowers, but this is beautiful!
Would we call that group a conversation of parrots? Wonderful card. I see flocks of parrots here once in a while. They are wonderful to watch - just don't park your car under them or have them settle in your own yard.
What beautiful parrots.
I wanted to thank you for entering my OWOH Giveaway. It was great fun. It was so crazy with so many blogs to visit that it was hard to really take a look at each one. So I invite you to come back and take a look around both of my blogs and see what you think. If you like them, I hope you will consider signing up as a follower and/or placing my blog on your blog list so that you can better keep up with me and know when I post. Thank you for taking the time, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Have an awesome day!

What a gorgeous card!
I love his work. He had a real love of birds, didn't he. How have you been friend? I feel much better but seems like recovery is way to long.
Gorgeous colors on the postcard we love birds.
Beautiful! I was thinking Audubon the minute I saw it!
That's close enough, Snap.. I love that postcard.
Hope hubby is doing okay.
Hugs,
Betsy
Audubon's bird pictures are so beautiful!
Great card, Audubon beautifully paints the social nature of parrots, I can almost hear them squawking.
Love the birds postcard. The colors are fantastic. The touches of red really pop out.
Such a lovely image - I can hear the squawks too. Audobon "interesting"? Off to wikipedia I go.
Another, sadder note: these birds are also known as the carolina parakeet and sadly the are extinct.

Great Card. Love your bird.
That Audubon sure knew how to draw the birds didn't he? Your card is beautiful.
