  3. Very nice. I enjoyed looking at the one of the bathers too. Quite the juxtaposition of warm and cold!

  4. Happy PFF. We only have a little dusting of snow, but it is suddenly cold and wintry.

  13. I'm back, wondering how the snow turned out. It can be unpredictable stuff. My mother just had record rainfull in Florida. But I digress, I wanted to say how much I love vintage Christmas decorations. Walking around my neighborhood last night with my son and my dog we were looking at the lights etc. and there was one house that had on its balcony a Santa figure with a candle on either side of him - large things about 4 or 5 feet tall each and it brought me back to growing up in the sixties and how things looked then and I was kind of sad that none of our old family decorations had made it through. I think that is why making traditions at this time of year is so important to me for my own son and that I get a little too materialistic over the "things" we pull out of the stored boxes. I need to work a little more on that grasping concept.

  15. There is something so sweetly nostalgic about these postcards...I always feel like I've touched a homey piece of the past when I find these in my travels!
