Postcard Friendship Friday is made possible by our delightful Postmistress, Marie.
Every year a Japanese Festival is held in Houston's Hermann Park.
It includes food, music, bonsai and lots of vendors.
One year, I found these postcards.
I love cats and couldn't pass them up.

I love cats and cat postcards too.
Snap, I think all those cats have lived in my home at one time or another. LOL I have stopped by to tell you we just finished a delicous bowl of Snaps split pea soup. MMMMM good! Thanks again for the recipe. Sharon
These are perfect for a feline lover!!
Purrfect! Gives a whole new meaning to the kitty!
The first one is my favorite. It's a goody. Happy PFF.
The combination of cats and Japanese art makes the cards irresistible! I wouldn't have passed them either. :)
I don't know why I'm drawn to Oriental art, but these are really great example. They're not from CatManDo are they?
Kabuki Kats!!
Now I understand what it was my cats were doing at night!
All of you have made me smile with your *cat* comments! CatManDo indeed! Kabuki Kats doing their thing at night. That must be the definition of the midnight crazies!
These are exquisite. Thank you for sharing them, and Happy PFF!
cat-lover here, too! and japan's most famous "neko" would be hello kitty, right? :P
I love your cats, and your post cards. thanks for playing how delightful.
Oh, I love the cats! Great cards!
Snap, amazing and unusual postcards! I wouldn't have passed them up either! :) Come visit my post!
Whoa !! Love these postcards !!!
So much 'oriental'.
Love the post cards and especially the reverse...What a nice way to collect images.
Here's wishing you a great weekend!
What gorgeous and vibrant coors! I had sushi for dinner last night too:) They even made a dessert sushi which was chocolate in a coconut layer. But it was cut up to look exactly like sushi too!
I translated the text on the cat card. It says: "I can haz cheezburger?"
these are great! My husband travels to Japan some and I'm going to ask him to look for postcards next time he's there. It would sure beat the weird candy and banana shaped twinkie things he brought back last time :)
Such vibrant colors and attention to detail. And those cats!
I LOVE the middle yellow one! Great postcards. What is it about the Japanese that they capture the essence and attitude of animals so well?
Kate
Awesome!
