It's That Time Again!

How time flies.

It's time to celebrate my Blog Anniversary and my birthday with another
box of curiosities.

This year the box holds two glass mugs
a red tea pot
Honey
Honey dipper
Almondina cookies
Assam tea
Special Blend of tea (Blend of Ceylon and Indian)
and I'll probably add a couple of extra goodies.

All you have to do is leave a comment.
One comment is all it will take.
You don't have to be a follower (if you win it would be nice).
A winner will be selected on June 4.

Good Luck!

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

Celebrate!

Once a year in June it's time to CELEBRATE my Blogoversary with a give-a-way.

Here's what you will receive if you are the winner:
- commemorative coronation mug of King Edward VIII
- King Arthur's Court at Camelot tea pot
- SIMPLE PLEASURES TEA book

- Two painted tea cups on canvas
(No, I didn't do the painting. I found them at Michaels.)

- and, a lovely tin filled with A Taste of Tea note cards.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post.
You do not have to do anything special.
You do not have to be a follower
(although, if you are the winner, it would be nice!)

On June 28, I'll use random number to pick a winner.

Thanks to our tea party hostesses.
These are just a few of the tea parties in the Land of Blog.

Wishing  You WELL and a lovely cup of tea!

Blogoversary

On June 3, I will celebrate my second year of blogging, exploring, meeting new folks, making new friends, learning new things.
It's been a whole lot of fun. I also noticed that sometime in the last month I reached 100 followers and 400+ posts. I really don't pay a lot of attention to those things, but decided since they all sort of came together at the same time, there must be some significance and so, it was time to celebrate with a little give-a-way.

Here's the deal, the give-a-way is for my followers only. There is no button to put on your blog. Blogging about the give-a-way won't get you extra points. All you have to do is leave a comment here. On Friday, June 18, I'll name the winners. There is one small *fly in the ointment* ... you must let me know what gift you would like. I've noticed that I have a lot of readers in my followers and I hope there is something here you would like. You get to choose from:
  • The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women: a portable mentor by McMeekin
  • The first three Matthew Shardlake Historical Mysteries by C. J. Sansom
  • Hooked On Murder by Betty Hechtman - the first in a crochet mystery series
  • A reusable box of 10 recycled cards and envelopes titled *Amelia's Trees*. The quote on the inside of the box is from Shakespeare "I will but look upon the hedges and follow you ..."
  • And last, but not least, a small stone trinket box with inlaid flower (made in India)
In addition, each will come with a surprise.

Get to work! Leave your comment. Tell me what you would like. Make a list in order of preference if you wish. I'll pick the names on June 18. The first name will get the gift of their choice and I'll work my way through the list.

Thanks for celebrating with me.

Joy to You!

Jackpot!

I've hit the jackpot!

I had visits from the post man and from the guy in the brown uniform of UPS.

Here are my prizes!

I'm an avid reader and can never have too many bookmarks.
Especially bookmarks this pretty.
Almost too pretty to use!
This was a One World One Heart prize from Pamela at Quilts N More.

I love my heart bracelet from Heather at Adagio Beadcrafters

I've worn the bracelet twice already... both times to the museum.
It brought me luck. I was a hit!
This was also a One World One Heart prize.

My final prize is a digital subscription to one of my favorite magazines --
