Deciding on Yarn is Easy or Hard

Halloween decorating continues.

Owl

I think I'm almost finished with the ghosts and goblins.

Boo!

Including kitchen towels!

Kitchen

Halloween is fun around here.
There is the annual block party.
We all meet at one house with our candy in tow.
We have pizza, hot dogs and drinks of all kinds
while we give candy to the kids and tell them how great they look.

Happy Halloween

In family news,
my BGD (Beautiful God Daughter)
announced that they are expecting.
She and her Knight decided they didn't want to know if baby is a girl or boy.
That makes deciding on yarn for a baby afghan easy,
or hard depending on how you feel!!

Baby Afghan

So I decided on all the colors of the rainbow in their brightest!

Wishing YOU well and much joy!

I really enjoy handing out candy to the neighbourhood children in their costumes. They are so cute. How fun to anticipate a baby for your god daughter.

The colors of the rainbow is a perfect pattern and nice bright colors. I love your towels...I actually went into a store today looking for some Fall towels but didn't find any. OH....I just did my review on The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper. I 'liked' yours and LOVED the book! So quirky and fun! Hugs!

I like the idea of the community party - in our neighborhood, the homes are so far apart (and there are no street lights) that it would not make sense for the few kids to go around trick-or-treating. Your sort of party would benefit the kids AND the adults! Love the afghan, and congratulations on the upcoming new addition!

I love the colour of your baby rug, and am happy to hear that the happy couple don't want to know if it is a boy or a girl. So rare these days not to find out. I think it takes away from the surprise at the end! Have a fabulous week and thank you for visiting my blog this week.

Halloween sounds like such fun in your neighborhood. Our neighborhood is quite busy and could go well into the night, but we turn off the lights at 8:30 as we have already given out over 300 treats and we are exhausted, but everybody has fun and it is great to see the costumes. I think your new little baby will be happy with the afghan. The colors are perfect and just beautiful. Thanks for your visit and Happy Weekend to you..Judy
