I hope you had a lovely Holiday weekend.
I always think about my Daddy.
He is buried in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
When I lived in New Mexico, I would visit around Memorial Day.
I have my patriotic decorations out.
They'll stay up until after the 4th of July.
I do love Quirky!
The cat and owl vases are from the West Elm Fairy Tale collection.
Perfect for a cat and owl lover!
I finished knitting a shawl.
It is light weight from Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball.
And, I'm all set for my summer hibernation.
(I hibernate because of the heat.)
I have plenty of yarn!
I found the pattern for the shawl in Knit Simple Holiday 2017 magazine.
Wishing YOU well and much joy!

Love that cat and owl vase!
My parents are buried in Oklahoma and neither of my sisters who live there is well enough to take flowers to them.. Next year I'm going to call a florist to do it.
We keep our decorations up till 4th of July too.
Hello, I like the cute vases and your patriotic decorations. The shawl looks pretty. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
Wonderful post! Your photos are just lovely.
Memorial Day reminds me of my dad, too. He served in WW2. I miss him so much...
Your patriotic decor looks so pretty, Snap, and your shawl is exquisite!! My decorations are up now, too.
I don't have many patriotic decorations and I love your little girl and cat and bear
Hi Snap: I love your patriotic bear and all your other patriotic creations. I am starting to put mine out too. Thank you for your kind visit and sweet words. It is starting to heat up around here so hopefully the green will do the trick..Happy Wednesday..Judy
Your little patriotic decorations are adorable!
Beautiful!
Hope you are having a great week!
Quirky planters are the best!
LOVE that shawl!
I like your patriotic decorations! So festive!
love the figurines. I collect them but don't know who makes them. Yours are just adorable. LeeAnna
There's something about red, white and blue that just makes me want to break into the National Anthem … inspiring (your decorations, not my singing)! Looking forward to seeing the products of your "hibernation".
the shawl looks lovely - well done!
Love the cat and owl vases, they are beautiful :)
Hi Snap! Long time, no chat. Quirky is good; I like quirky, too. Are you really hibernating this summer? The heat? Your shawl is just lovely and probably just the right weight for cool summer evenings or cold air conditioned cars or rooms. Thanks for popping by to visit me today.
LOVE your vintage style Patriotic decor!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Your patriotic décor is just lovely, are you still a collector of vintage items, do you add to it throughout the summer months? Love those quirky vases so whimsical and fun, thanks for sharing with the Mosaic Monday crowd today.
Your quirky vases add a lot of lightheartedness to your post. The shawl will be great for cool summer evenings, if you ever have those in your area. Have a wonderful week.
The shawl is so lovely...what a pretty color too! And we hibernate when it gets hot too. I have to run my errands first things in the morning and then stay inside all afternoon. But I have lots of fun projects planned. LOVE your patriotic pretties! Hugs, Diane
I love your patriotic decor. Did your figurines come from Christmas Traditions? I used to search the website for cute patriotic inspiration. Thanks for sharing at Keep In Touch.
Cute quirky pieces for your home. Makes for a happy day. Nice knitting too.
That is such a pretty shawl. I love the way it shimmers.
