After several cloudy, rainy days,
the sun made an appearance
and the kitties started chasing the sun puddles.
I saw Teddy and Mina first.
Then I moved to take another shot and lo and behold --
the lovely Cassie was sun-puddling, too.
Cassie usually takes off the minute the camera comes out.
"Come on Mum. Put that camera up and leave us alone!"
I think the kitties have the right idea.
Thank you to the hosts of:
And, Sunlit Sunday.
Wishing YOU well and much joy!

I can just feel the warm, soft fur.
Good morning, love your sweet kitties. I would be like them too chasing the sun. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
they are so energetic...love your vintage banner too
I think sitting in the sun is a great idea today...even here in Florida! How cute!
I would just join them in enjoying the sun!
Hello!:) Sweet kitty pictures, how they love snoozing in the sun.
Cats sure know where to find the right places for soaking up some sun and yours look pretty comfy.
I saw your kitty on the left and burst into tears! That looks so much like my Romeo! I love how the fur sticks up in tufts like that. Oh he was such a sun chaser, too!
You have three of the sweetest fur babies! Give them love and pets for me! ♥

Smart kitties. Cold here, no much snow coming I think, which is a relief after last year. Pups chasing sun puddles when they can too. xox
My HRH loved sun puddles too!
I agree with the cats. Colder weather is okay as long as there are sun puddles to bathe in.
Such pretty kitties. The lighting in your photos is lovely.
Sun-puddling! I love that word! Mine, too.

The definitely have the right idea! I love the term 'sun puddle'.
One of our cats loves the sun and the other one could care less. I've always said sun bathing but I like sun puddling better!
What precious kitties. Our Trouble does NOT like to have his photo taken. You left out one cold one...a cold cow, a cold pup, and a very cold face on an old woman.LOL Thanks for the visit.
The kitties are really enjoying the sun puddles after the rainy days. We are having really hot, burning sun and I am hiding from the sun as much as possible.
your cats are sun worshippers
I think they are very wise kitties, I chase sun puddles too and it is great thing to do!! xx
Oh, these guys look so cozy in the sun puddles. Love the look on your Siamese as he soaks it all in!

Very cute! I'm glad they had sun puddles to finally bathe in!
This is the most sunlit and happy post I can imagine: three wonderful kitties enjoying the warm sun. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely week ahead!
So sweet, even if they do look a little annoyed at the papparazi!
Love that phrase 'sun puddles.' Made me smile nice visit here.
Your kitties are like my grandchildren - camera shy. They look perfectly content in their splashes of sunlight.
They know how to get warmed up by the sun for sure!
Like your cats, I follow the sun around the house! :-) Smart critters.
Hello,Snap
How cute and wise those kitties are! They know the right place. I want to sit there with them as it's been overcast for the past few days here.
Have a good new week!
What a sweet picture of all your kitties!
They are such smart animals and know when they're on to a good thing - namely living with you and chasing the sun from room to room.
They know what side their bread is buttered on!
A gorgeous post Snap!

Kitties do love the sunshine. I love to curl up in front of the fire and my husband sometimes calls me a cat for doing so.
They certainly look happy with that sunshine!
Be still my heart! Your kitties are beautiful and they know how to live, finding those puddles of sunlight to enjoy. Their coats are gleaming.
Karen
I believe a sun puddle would be my favorite place to nap if I were a cat!
