This gerbera daisy is still hanging on.
It hasn't gotten the message that it is winter
and it's COLD!

Those gerberas do hang in. Mine were still blooming, too, up until last week when the frost finally got them. They are happy little flowers.
wonderful bit of sunshine in wintry days .. enJoy!
and thanks for sharing so that I could as well :)
Mine got the cold message and pulled up its roots and left. :)
Brave little Gerbera! Too cold up here for any such blooming!
We have snow here....no daisies for months and months.
I love Gerberas!
Bless its heart!

Cheerful but lonesome flower, it will get the message eventually. :-)

She's clearly a tough cookie.
We do get a lot of sunshine from flowers in general and especially from the lovely image you shared!
Thank you and have a great new week!
How lovely to have a Gerbera in flower at this time of the year. Mine have long gone with first frost. Lovely photo. Enjoy your weekend
I love the Gerbera daisies! Beautiful quote.. Have a happy day!
Gotta love a plant that defies the cold weather!
that is one persistent gerbera daisy.
What a valiant little flower, love this!
Persistent indeed. I love gerberas and used to plant them here too but the earwigs also love them and I don't love earwigs. :) Have a great day!
Well the buds are on our trees & the daffs are popping up at our place. Thanks for coming by my blog, do come by again
It only takes one little flower to bring sunshine into our lives.
I'm amazed your gerbera has survived the cold of winter Snap - a brave one indeed!
That's a very persistent gerbera. I have a vase full in my house, but they were purchased at the store. Still, they've lasted more than 2 weeks and are still lovely. Flowers are so cheery.
Pretty- and definitely a fighter to hang on this long. Have a great day!
I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to visit this week, Snap. That flower must be pretty hardy! Talk about the expression, "Bloom where you're planted."
