There are three Satsuma trees in Musashi's Garden.
They've had a hard time.
I've talked to them and babied them through the continuing drought.
Telling them they didn't have to *perform* -- just stay alive.
This year, two of the little trees provided me with orange globes of sweetness.
YUM!
Before I ate all the evidence,
I decided that I needed to document the fact that
a little babying never hurts.

Oh that is a good word for many things, pets, people... How delicious the fruit must have been!
I get so much joy from seeing a plant bear fruit! Good job raising these babies. I hope they were sweet!
Just like raising kids. We nurture and love them and watch them grow - then let them go. The difference here is we don't eat them! Fun post!
Babying can be a very healthy thing. I wish i could hug those trees. Affection is so wonderful!
look at how splendid they are! I like a little babying myself sometimes.
Lucky you! All living things need a bit of nurturing.
So good for you that you were rewarded with some sweetness. xox
What a treat to pick these.
I feel pretty sure that they turned up the sweetness gene just for you!
We all need a little babying sometimes. :-)
