It is the first thing you see when you enter Blue Leaf in my village.
Oh, my!
Christmas Overload!!!
On to the memories with some help from Blue Leaf.
A smile came to my face when I saw the Christmas Village.
I remembered being a little girl and visiting my grandmother for Christmas.
She had the most wonderful Christmas Village around the bottom of her Christmas tree.
All the different buildings were made from cardboard.
The roofs had batting on the top with glitter (of course) to look like snow.
There were churches and shops and lots of bottle trees all decorated.
She even had some small houses in her Christmas tree.
Sweet memories!

Wow, that is some Christmas festivity, those bottle brush trees and the tiny village reminds me of my childhood Christmas decorations. Where does it go whe the season is not here, that's alot of stuff! xox Corrine

Great set of pictures, Snap, and I also remember back to my childhood days. My parents had a little village which was always below the Christmas tree in our home. I inherited that little village --but somehow, through the years, it disappeared... (Wish I had taken better care of some of the old things I had at one time from my parents' home... Dang!)

Villages are so beautiful and part of Xmas, I never got around to collect enough pieces, than later my daughter took what I had and she's collecting and growing each year for her little ones..oh well. You got some great memories, I love memories of Xmas, like I remember my embroidered tablecloth I made more than 25 yrs. ago when I celebfrated Xmas Day at our former home; with my father, my fil and mil and my beloved grandma Stella...they're all gone now. Oh what fun Christmas pictures!! I remember those cardboard houses. I loved them when I was a child. I wish I had them!! I do have a snow village, but they're ceramic. the grandkids do love them, though! I guess they'll remember them like I remember the cardboard ones!!!

Absolutely....I so adored your memory of your G-ma's Christmas village under the tree.
Oh to be a child again, huh? Well, when it comes to Christmas, tho, I AM a child at heart. Even now that both of our kids are gone from home, and two grown grandsons----I still become a wide eyed child, filled with rapture in all the glory of the season.

Oh, this puts me in such a Christmas-y mood. How lovely everything looks.
Beautiful Christmas-y photos, and they bring back lots of memories for me, too. We had a little Christmas village under our tree when I was a kid. I loved to lay on the floor and look at it and dream about who lived there.
