I had said that "tears" and roses go together, and while I like this Seuss quote, I believe that we can cry because it is over and smile because it happened...together and separately...one needn't be the only way to work through grief. Sometimes what makes us smile because it happened can also make us cry from happiness. ♥
I must remember this quote to share with my little granddaughter who always cries when she must go home. I know the quote has special meaning for you, Snap - wishing you many smiles.
I want to shout, "YES!" with this quote. And yet, there is a bittersweetness behind it as well. Tear drops on roses - I hope they are not yours but if they are that it was a cleansing experience. There does seem to be no end to the tears though, or at least it is for me. Just periods in between the cleansing. Much, much love to you, Snap.
