I had a wonderful lunch with friends.
We had been talking about having Dim Sum together for years.
Mr. Dragon, me and his colleagues, our friends.
One thing or another kept us from dim sum,
but finally success!
We ate.
Talked about old times.
Cried a little.
Toasted with tea, to Mr. Dragon.
Wishing he was still here with us.
I found out I like seaweed!
(Pictured on the far right.)
Thank you to our hostesses:
and
Wishing YOU well and a joy filled week!

This is one of our favorite weekend things to do. There's a great Dim Sum place in town and I could visit, chat and eat for hours!
Sounds like a great way to spend a morning with friends.
Sounds like you had a nice time! I haven't eaten sea weed, only found it between my toes at the shore:@)
That looks like a nice place to eat! I am not crazy about seaweed, too healthy I think :). Stopping by from Seasonal Sundays. xo,

Looks like good dim sum!
My Dad used to take my two sisters and me to Dim Sum in Montreal's China Town when we were kids. I haven't been in many, many years.

Lunch with good friends and good food. That's the best way to spend an afternoon. I haven't tried seaweed, but it looks interesting and it's green. I should like it. :)

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Have a wonderful week.
I've had seaweed soup and liked it. I never think of ordering it when I'm at a restaurant but I'm going to have to try it again. Sounds like your outing was lovely.
What a sweet post, Snap. There aren't many things better than enjoying good food with good friends. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for taking time to leave a comment. I'm really glad you enjoyed your tour of Highlands. You must come and see it in person sometime.

How nice that you were able to get together for Dim Sum and reminisce. I haven't had Dim Sum in quite some time. I have to go to L.A.'s Chinatown to get it and that doesn't happen too often.
Great like a wonderful time with your friends. I have never tried seaweed, what does it taste like? Great photos and mosaic, have a wonderful week!
Sounds wonderful & delicious~ I like seaweed too :-)

Snap,
It sounds like you had a wonderful days filled with friends and memories. You never know what you might like until you try it, right?
This looks like a wonderful restaurant! I haven't tasted seaweed but it looks very fresh and nice.
I'm sorry Mr. Dragon wasn't there to join you.
Beautiful mosaics! The deco is beautiful and the food looks delicious.
I hope you are adjusting to the heat by taking siestas then going out in the evenings when it is cooler! That is what we do here especially during July and August. A good excuse to be in the shade reading after lunch as well. Then off to somewhere like this for Dim Sum, perfect days.
I'm glad that you and your friends were finally able to sit down to some dim sum...Mr. Dragon would be pleased that you did. xo
