The rose was in full bloom for our snow last Friday.
Isn't she beautiful?
She lives in our atrium.
She lives in our atrium.
The tangelo had 5 fruit to be picked on Thanksgiving Day.
We stood at the door and watched a squirrel take one off the tree
and take a bite out of it!
The little rascal.
We dashed out and picked the rest of the citrus.
We are kind to our squirrels,
but the little stinker took a bite and then threw it on the ground!
Delicious!

We had roses blooming also Snap-- during our recent snow. Now--All of the rose bushes are getting cut back and being put to bed for the winter. I will miss them til spring.
Glad you got your tangelos... I try not to feed our squirrel ANYTHING. This year there were plenty of nuts on the ground for them...
Hugs,
Betsy
She is very beautiful!!!
There are things blooming?
Outdoors?
Now?
:-O
Wow, Snap! What lovely, colorful shots! I love them all! Can't believe the squirrel threw the tangelo on the ground -- must not like healthy food!! I know some people like that!
Enjoy your week!
Sylvia
how wonderful to have citrus fruits growing in your garden. Thats another world to me. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm enjoying yours.
I always love to see those late in season roses blooming. We pruned some of the older roses in our yard in summer and they have sprouted new branches and have been blooming today.
Enjoy the week.
Snap: It is nice to share with the animals but only if they really want it. Great photos of the flowers.
There is so much to love in your garden. I hope the snow didn't finish off some of your late blooms. We are expecting our first major storm on Wednesday. I'm battening down the hatches...
Squirrels are like that! I'm glad you are kind to them and removed the temptation before the naughty one gets into any more trouble.
I cannot beliee you got snow and we still haven't had any except for a dusting. What strange weather!
Some of our roses are still blooming, too, but that's about all.
Squirrels are fun. Lucky you to have tangelos in your garden.
Naughty squirrel! Great blooms in your garden.
Lovely rose ... naughty squirrel! Your post reminds me that the Satsuma tangerines at my sister's are probably ready to pick. I'll have to drive in there and see ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

Wow a squirrel with a taste for citrus!! Y ajust never know! Wonderful pictures Snap!! Wickedly cold here!! Not anything blooming except my violets inside!! They are very happy! Hugs, Sarah

Wow, cheeky rascal beat you to the first tangelo. That's a gorgeous bloom to have on thanksgiving and what an artsy flower pot!
Wonderful blooms and photos. I love the tangelo.
Wonderful flowers :-)
Beautiful shots so natural !!
Silly squirrel..... LOL
Your life and your garden are so sweet, colorful and rich, lovely Snap !
Thanks for sharing your lovely bits of life with us !
Happy Tuesday !
I didn't have time to put My World post up this week but I so enjoyed yours. Those photos are lovely. Loved that pretty container too.
Were they good, i hope you did not pick them too early because of squirrel.
Oh, that wascally squirrel! They do that here too - tomatoes just ready to be picked, soon lying on the ground with a single chomp missing.
So nice to see your pretty garden pix when it's so cold out.
Kate
your garden is so beautiful and I do love "her". Blasted yankee squirrel - tossing an orange on the ground!
Nice picture of the tengelo. I never had one, but I think it would look better on my plate than the tree. I noticed you have an interest in college baseball. Nice site.
So much beauty so late in the season. Such gifts we were given this autumn. I love the "woman" planter...so lovely!
I loved the tale about the squirrel and the tangelo. That must have been amusing to watch him steal it only to abandon it.
Beautiful blooms, Snap! That was a funny squirrel! Wicked little guy!
