The girls had a black tea flavored with Lychee.
What made this tea drinking special were our two guests.
The one on the left is the curator for Asian Art at the museum.
The one on the right used to be her assistant, Vivian.
Vivian may look familiar to those of you who have followed me for awhile.
Vivian went temple trekking with us before she went to China to study.
Now she's off to Michigan to work on her Ph.D.
This was a farewell and good luck tea.

What a delightful looking place! Would love to have tea there! Great shots!
Enjoy!

What a lovely place and great photos. Thanks for sharing them.
The cabinet with the cups looks great, but the very thought of tea turns me green. :)
I am a tea junkie! I think I want to move to Houston. And those cupcakes. Must run and have breakfast, I'm suddenly starving!
So many varieties of tea... must be smelling heavenly! :) Lots of luck to your friend.
I can almost smell all that lovely tea. Now Russians, very big tea drinkers - just look at those samovars - always have their tea in glasses. Makes sense, because it keeps the liquid hotter longer. So why no glasses here?
Snap: An interesting look into your world of tea. The girls are beautiful. Sorry about the error comment.
I'm sure the aroma is wonderful when you walk in the door. The rows of cups to choose from is a nice touch. But I went straight for the red velvet cupcake picture!! I do have a sweet tooth!
That place looks like such a treat ! How fun !mmmm...cupcakes !
ooohhh the cupcakes look wonderful but all those teapots!!! And the tea to sniff for sampling!! And choosing your own cup??! Oh this is MY kind of place!!!
How nice that you had a farewell for Vivian...
George worked in China (taught) for several semesters/years.. He learned to love hot tea. He still does and orders us all kinds of hot teas from "Special Teas" online. We try to drink green tea at least once a day. But--I like many of the citrus-flavored teas. We both dearly love Earl Grey.
Gee--wish we had that tea place here. I'm sure we'd LOVE going there. The desserts look good also.
Hugs,
Betsy
This looks like such a fun place to visit! All those little pots to sniff the tea...it must be a euphoric place with all those scents. Now throw in one of those goodies and you are in heaven!
Growing up, tea was a box of Lipton. This is a whole new adventure I am learning about.
What a wonderful place. I'd love to try the teas but that cupcake would be first for me.
Yum! An interactive tea shop!! How fun is that?
Nothing like a fine cuppa tea!
Thank you for visiting My Muskoka !
Oh I'm in love with this shop---and would have loved to try many of those! Our country is very tea-drinking, but oddly we have no such thing near where we live. I wish we did now....hmm, business idea? LOL
Thanks for the tour and lovely photos!
What a lovely little tea shop. I would enjoy having a soothing cup of tea there. Nice photos too.
Mmmm tea. Mmmm cupcakes. Perfect harmony. xo

That tea shop looked wonderful. The aroma must have been amazing too! I'll put this stop on my 'someday' list in case I'm in the neighborhood someday. Thanks for taking us on the tour. Also, thank you for linking to my giveaway. Good luck!
lovely for you, I can not stand the smell of tea, the taste is ok but I don't drink it because it smells as I bring it to my mouth! I am a coffee addict!
What a wonderful place. Would enjoy tea there myself!
Janice.
