My Friends in Canada

It was 42 degrees when I got up this morning.
Probably no big deal for some of you, but for us on the Gulf Coast it felt really good!

With temperatures like this I can:

-break out the crazy, fun slipper socks
- have oatmeal for breakfast
- hot chocolate in the evening
- wear a light sweater in the morning

I already start my day with a hot cup of tea.
This morning it was Harney and Sons, Cranberry Autumn,
a black tea with cranberry and orange.

I enjoyed a couple of cups of Cranberry Autumn in my new tea cup that I found at
It is a porcelain cup and saucer called Khaki Bird by PIP (Passionate Inspirational Products).

Khaki Bird

They make bowls and teapots in other colors.
Really cute!

Khaki Bird

I'm sticking with the teacup.

I'm joining some tea parties today:

and the lovely Judith for Mosaic Monday.

Wishing YOU well, much joy and a wonderful cup of tea.

And, before I forget, I'd like to thank my friends in Canada for this nice cool weather.

We've cooled off, too. In fact last evening we had our first fire of the season. It felt so good.

Love your teacup and that tea sounds delish.

Forty-nine degrees here near LA, CA this morning. I love it; makes me feel so good and energetic. I agree that northerners might loathe the coming coldness, but as a southern Californian it is a wonderful feeling.

Such a sweet teacup. I saw the H + S Cranberry Autumn at our bookstore when I bought some English Breakfast and wish now I had picked it up too. They certainly make quality tea.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Snap.

My husband & I discovered this teacup while we were window shopping on a very rare get-away time for us. We bought it and a pink version of the same cup & saucer to use as our coffee cups for our time together at an ocean front hotel. I love this cup & saucer and forever after the pair we bought will remind me of this precious time my husband & I had together.

Oh what a delight to read this post !

I'm so thankful for the cooler temps here in the Dallas area, too, Snap! Your teacup is a beauty and the saucer looks like pretty calico fabric. I think I'd love the cranberry tea. I'm going to need to look for that flavor.

Such a pretty cup. It would easily become a favorite. We had a cool, rainy day in Colorado. Finally feels like fall. Canada does send us some unseemly weather, but then we do need moistsure. Hope it warms up for you.

For most of December through March, we will long for warm temperatures like 42 degrees. Glad to hear it's a nice reprieve for you. That is such a pretty teacup. I love the sweet bird. Enjoy your fallish endeavors and your new hot tea.

I love your sweet birdie tea cup, such a pretty colouring.
It's nice to see some new designs coming through.
