Daffodils

Daffodils

"For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils."
~William Wordsworth

Hello, Snap

Your photo is Spring, with daffodils and a bunny. Of course, I had to go and reread the whole poem! I love the lines:

I gazed —and gazed— but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought

I can relate to Wordsworth's idea of the "inward eye" looking back upon moments or events that have become treasured memories.

Thanks for the thoughtful post and sharing it at "Sunlit Sunday". You've brightened my day.

Nice photo Snap. I love daffodils especially because the deer do not eat them and I can actually have a Spring garden. More snow will have to melt first however, before we can find them. Thanks for giving me a first glimpse of Spring. xox

So beautiful. Unfortunately, our daffodils are not blooming. We had a strange winter and it did not get cold enough. I am enjoying yours through the photo.
