Nice way to think of seashells. I like your capture of the monarch in a previous post.Judith
Beautiful thoughts, who could not love Weston's work. xox
Lovely! Sometimes this is how I feel...all coiled up...
I used to love looking for shells on the riverbank when I was a kid. Not seashells - but pretty and fun to find. Lots of clam shells and snails. Nice memory!Have a fun weekend!!
Nice postcard and quote. Happy weekend.
Beautiful shell and the quote is so true!
I find everything about the ocean and sea fascinating since I live inland.
There is nothing more exciting than finding seashells. The colours, the sine, the shapes. That is why we carry bags full back home from our shore trips ...This shape inspired many: the Guggenheim museum has this shape, and so does my garden design (by a garden architect, not by me).Do you know the book 'Gift from the sea'? So much symbolism in it.I have to read back on your blog because I have been away from the internet for quite a while: crashed computer, lots of work in the garden, boating, puppy training, etc. Thanks for stopping by to admire 'de Utrecht'. I am going to google Mr Dragon's favorite!Happy day, Snap!Love from Holland,Jacoba
